Vehicle Price (Cap Cost)
The agreed purchase price of the vehicle, also called the capitalized cost — the starting point for calculating your lease payment.
Down Payment / Cap Reduction
Cash paid upfront to reduce the capitalized cost, which lowers your monthly depreciation charge.

Lease Terms

Residual Value (% of price)
The estimated value of the vehicle at the end of the lease, expressed as a percentage of its original price. A higher residual means lower monthly payments.
Money Factor
The lease equivalent of an interest rate — multiply by 2,400 to convert to an approximate APR. A lower money factor means a cheaper finance charge.
Lease Term (months)
The length of the lease agreement in months. Most consumer leases run 24, 36, or 48 months.
